Floating cities offer an alternative to reclaiming land
Because of the minimal impact on the environment, floating cities are a viable alternative to reclaiming land. The islands can be built for a variety of real estate purposes, such as apartment buildings, hotels or shopping areas. The construction of the floating cities takes place at another site and the final product is then transported to the final location. This setup guarantees zero disturbance to the residents at the final destination as they will not be faced with the unsightliness and disruptiveness of a construction site.
