Cargo Terminal
Global trade continues to grow, while conventional ports face constraints from land scarcity, environmental restrictions, and rising costs. The SeaTech Floating Terminal (STFT) offers a scalable, modular, and sustainable way to expand cargo and container handling capacity without land reclamation.
Built offsite with proven shipyard methods, the STFT is customizable to local port needs and can be expanded with modules for storage, logistics, or utilities. The concept has already received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from DNV (August 2025), confirming its technical feasibility, safety, and ability to withstand demanding environmental conditions.
- Length overall: 600–700 m
- Breadth moulded: 360 m
- Max load (containers & consumables): ~1,000,000 tons
- Design life: 60 years
Full-Scale Cruise Terminal
The demand for cruise terminals is growing while it is getting increasingly challenging to find suitable and affordable locations close to the city center. The floating cruise terminal is modular, expandable and highly adaptable to the growing demand of large cruise terminals worldwide. The floating terminal structure can be adapted to individual customer requirements as the design is always fully customized. In addition to hotel facilities, a floating parking garage or office building can for instance be added. Some of the terminals stand out for sustainability features including water production through desalination, holistic sewage and waste treatment system and use of wind and solar energy.
- Dimensions 264 x 82 m (866 x 269 ft)
- Built-up area (BUA) 30.000 m² (322.917 ft²)
- 7.000 visitors
Express Cruise Terminal
The express terminal features essential embark and disembark operations and services for smaller explorer cruisers. Since the whole functionality of the terminal is integrated on the floating structure, only one connection to the infrastructure network is required from the shoreside. The design is always fully customized and can be adapted in size to local conditions. We ensure not only a sustainable and efficient outcome but also align with contemporary maritime challenges through a reduced environmental impact, shorter delivery time and efficient site installation.
- Dimensions 264 x 63 m (866 x 207 ft)
- Built-up area (BUA) 9.800 m² (105.486 ft²)
