Floating Wave

Floating Wave is a next-generation overwater lifestyle and leisure platform planned for Hamburg’s Fischereihafen district. MEYER Floating Solutions has completed the full planning documentation package required for local authority approvals, marking an important milestone for this first-of-its-kind project in the city.

The structure combines a steel pontoon reviewed by DNV with a superstructure and interior fitout that meet local German building codes. Designed to offer a vibrant mix of recreation, hospitality and community functions, Floating Wave brings contemporary architecture onto the water in a way that supports responsible waterfront development.

Construction is planned to begin later in 2026, subject to final building permit issuance.
